Robert “Bob” Sieg

Sieg
Sieg

Robert “Bob” Sieg was born into this world in Chicago, April 6, 1953. Bob passed away peacefully in his home in Woodruff, on Monday, December 18, 2023. Bob was raised in Chicago and spent much of his time on the rail yards with his father. His family vacationed in the Northwoods often, and after he started a family with the love of his life, Denise, they made the move to Lake Tomahawk. Bob loved the outdoors, especially fishing on Big St. Germain Lake. He loved many other things, such as Christmas time, reading, telling punny jokes, spending time with his loud, rambunctious family, and Chicago sports, including the Cubs, the Bears, and the Blackhawks, like any true Chicagoan.

Bob survived by his wife of 45 years, Denise Sieg, his daughters, Stephanie Sieg, Jennifer Sieg, Deanna Sieg (Clayton Kuppler), Andrea (Chris) Schachtschneider, his son, Jonathan (Hillary) Sieg. He is also survived by his four grandchildren, Liam, Lily, Elli, and Bella, and by his sisters Carol (Kimiaki) Maruyama, Nancy (Tim) Gabauer, many nieces and nephews, and the many cooks he has trained and worked with over the years. Bob was preceded in death by his mother and father, Helen and Edwin Sieg, and by his beloved and sassy cat, Joey.

Bob, Dad, Bapa is already dearly missed and is forever loved.

Services will be held at Nimsgern Funeral Home on Thursday, Dec. 28. A memorial gathering will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 3 p.m.

Online condolences may be shared at www.nimsgernfuneral.com. Nimsgern Funeral & Cremation Services is serving the family.
