Carol Buckwalter

Carol Buckwalter, 80, a resident of Woodruff, passed away August 16, 2023, at Seasons of Life Hospice House surrounded by her family. She was born September 16, 1942, in Oak Park, Ill. to parents George and Marie Sellers. Carol graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Western Illinois University in Macomb, Ill. She married the love of her life Dale Buckwalter on August 30, 1964. She owned Wallpaper Plus in Macomb, Ill. Carol enjoyed life to the fullest. She volunteered as a Girl Scout leader. She loved interior decorating, knitting, and dancing. Carol was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter: Whitney Brown. She is survived by her husband: Dale Buckwalter; son: Steven (Pam) Buckwalter; son-in-law: Alan Brown; grandchildren: Amber (Caleb) Span, Sierra Brown, Nadia (Luke) Miller, Gillian, Noah, Chloe, and Samuel Buckwalter; brother: Steven (Pam) Buckwalter and many other family and friends.
