He managed and co-owned, with his father, Wickman Traffic Service, Inc, in Chicago for over fifty years. He and Dawn moved to their summer home in Minocqua, in 1995, where he became a Realtor® and was elected twice to the Oneida County Board representing the Minocqua area. Together, they enjoyed their membership playing golf at Minocqua Country Club, boating and birdwatching.
