Paul was born May 22, 1965, in Manitowoc, son of Mary (Logan) Schuetze and the late Wayne Schuetze. Their family cottage is located on Little Spider Lake in Arbor Vitae.
He was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School with the Class of 1983. Paul worked as a union carpenter for Miron Construction, Boldt, and Joe Schmidt and Sons.
Paul was passionate about boating and fishing whether it was in the secret spot at the cottage, ice fishing the Manitowoc Marina, or on the ocean when he was a young adult living in Florida with friends. He enjoyed working on home improvements for his and his family members’ homes and the cottage. He was a lifelong resident of Manitowoc and a lifelong weekend resident of Little Spider Lake. He enjoyed raising his children here. Paul began dating Patti in 2014 and enjoyed life with their beloved black labs, who loved when they got to jump in the lake almost as much as Paul did.
