Jeanette L. Wickeham
Jeanette L. Wickeham (Knuppel), 85, of Menasha, and formerly of Manitowish Waters, passed away on October 11, 2022, at Oak Ridge Gardens Nursing Home in Menasha following a long battle with Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. Jeanette was born on August 12, 1937, to the late Anton and Geneva (White) Knuppel. She graduated from Appleton High School, class of 1956. Jeanette earned her diploma of graduation from Milwaukee Institute of Technology, department of nursing. She worked at Appleton Medical Center as a nurse in surgery and pediatrics. Jeanette enjoyed spending time with her quilting group, pontoon rides, camping and many trips with her husband. She also enjoyed spending time with friends, family and was an awesome homemaker.
Jeanette married her love, David C. Wickeham and together they celebrated 60 years of marriage this year.
Jeanette is survived by her husband David; children, Barb (Bob) Cihak and Laurie (Richard) Van Hoorn; siblings, Herman Knuppel, Joyce (Emil) Zercher, Betty Goslin, Katherine (Mark) Saunders, Anthony (Cheryl) Knuppel and Karen (Richard) Seeger; sister-in-law, Anne Knuppel; grandchildren, Elissa (Colt) Thompson, Jacob Meyer, Miranda Genske; and great- grandsons, Jeremy Meyer and Ethan Thompson.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Carol Moe and Joan Graber; brother, Charles Knuppel; brothers-in-law, Chuck Barret, Howard Moe and John Goslin; and sisters-in-law, Doris and Margaret.
The family would like to sincerely thank the nurses and staff at Oakridge Nursing Home for her care and Hospice for their aid in mom’s final moments.
Interment will take place at Pine Lawn Cemetery in Manitowish Waters.
