Audrey J. Becker, 87, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at Marshfield Medical Center in Minocqua, Wisconsin.
Audrey was born on March 15, 1935, in Wautoma, where she grew up on the family farm, with her parents, John and Dorothy (Ahlers) Warwick. She had one brother, Ken and sister-in-law, Nancy.
On July 7, 1953, Audrey married Rod Becker, the couple had one son, Randy. All preceded her in death.
In the early 1970’s, Rod and Audrey moved to Minocqua, purchasing the Cedar Falls Resort. They ran a very successful business, with many of their customers staying in contact with Audrey to this day.
Audrey was a free-spirited, hardworking woman who loved her garden, flower beds and friends, and was quick to lend a hand when someone needed help. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten, and happy pleasant thoughts and stories will continue for beyond forever. In recent years, she fell in love with her vegetable stand at the Yarn Shop in Arbor Vitae, helping to bring that to life. Many came to the stand, just to see Audrey, their favorite person! She will be loved forever.
Audrey has requested that there be no services and that she be cremated.
Surviving Audrey are her nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends in Wautoma and Minocqua.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hildebrand Funeral Home & Cremation Specialists, 24 E. Davenport Street, Rhinelander, Wisconsin, 54501, 715-365-4343. Everyone is invited to sign the guestbook, or leave an online condolence at www.hildebrandrussfh.com.
