Gayle Sandra Grundy was born February 10, 1940, in Minocqua, where she grew up, the daughter of Marion and Gerald Grundy Sr. She was united in marriage to Clyde Cleveland, and they had three amazing children Arleigh, James “Jimmy” and Ronda. Gayle later married Richard “Dick” Reisdorf, and two bonus children were added to the family, Richard and Roxanne. They lived in Minocqua for some time before moving to Jefferson, where they lived until 1999, when they retired to Couderay on the LCO Reservation. Granny enjoyed trap shooting, bird and wildlife watching, knitting and crocheting and watching the Packers play.
She is survived by her daughter Arleigh; three granddaughters Sara, Ariana, Alexis and bonus granddaughter Jen “Toast”; one grandson Alonzo; siblings Jean, Jr., Marlene and Tom; many nieces and nephews; crazy cat China and granddog Riley.
Granny was welcomed home by her husband Richard; children Ronda and Jimmy; siblings Adrienne and Merle; niece Lillian Van Gothem; and many other family and friends.
A memorial gathering will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 22 at the family home.
