Candace Bernelle “Cheeks” Diver
Candace Bernelle “Cheeks” Diver, age 35, died unexpectedly October 5, 2022, in Merrill. She was born September 1, 1987, to William Diver and Jenny Stone in Woodruff. She attended Lakeland Union High School. Candace was a homemaker most of her life. She enjoyed beading, cooking, being a cosmetology entrepreneur, gambling, and finding humor in everything. 
Candace was preceded in death by her father: William Diver; grandparents: Bernard Diver and Mae Christensen, Roger, and Gladys Stone; nieces: Cherish Moore, Cheyenne Beson-Diver; aunts: Louise Stone, Margaret Chosa; uncles: Ed Patterson, Tauno Stone Sr., and cousins: Leonard Stone Jr, Tauno Stone Jr. and Victoria Cross-Chosa.
Candace is survived by her children: Donna Peterson, Jazmine Beson, Michael Diver, Mikaya Beson; mother: Jenny Stone; siblings: Betty Stone, Brandon Vetterneck, William (Stacy) Stone, Vincent Diver, Gladys Diver, Tracy (Zachary) Fletcher.
Traditional Native American services were already held.
