Paul E. Rosenow
Paul E. Rosenow, 80, of St. Germain, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2022 at Rennes Health and Rehabilitation in Rhinelander. Paul was born October 30, 1941 in Shawano, to Emma (nee Springer) and Ed Rosenow. Paul married Ruth Goetsch at St. Martin Lutheran Church in Clintonville on August 29, 1964. They were avid golfers, playing at Timber Ridge Country Club, Saint Germain golf course and more recently as members of the Minocqua Country Club where they have enjoyed many events and made many friends. Winters for Paul and Ruth were spent in Citrus Hills, Fla. where they are surrounded by many friends and have spent a lot of time on the golf course. Besides golfing, Paul enjoyed fly tying and fly fishing on streams for trout as well as lake fishing. He also was an avid woodworker, making several unique furniture pieces. Paul graduated from Stout State University in January 1965 with a bachelors in industrial engineering. His first position was at Fairbanks Morse in Rock Island, Ill. Later, in 1967, Paul began a career at Appleton Papers where he was employed for thirty-three years. Paul was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Minocqua, where he served as an usher. Paul is survived by his loving wife, Ruth; his twin brother, Karl (Sallie); brother-in-law, Charles (Mary) Goetsch; sister-in-law, Joy (Mark) Messerschmidt; and many nieces and nephews. The family will be holding a private service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the Trinity Lutheran School in Minocqua.
