Sally married Robert Knapstein on October 9, 1954.
She attended Oregon State and UW-Stout and worked as a bookkeeper at Woodruff Hardware and was an outstanding homemaker.
Sally enjoyed swimming with a group of friends and spending time with her family and her dog, Gabby.
She is survived by her children Raymond (Cathy) Knapstein, Mary (Roger) Jarek, Robert (Barbara) Knapstein, Rodney (Rhonda) Knapstein and David (Susan) Knapstein and by her grandchildren Sarah (Dave) Deadman, Jeff (Emily) Knapstein, Rick (Rebecca) Jarek, Katie Jarek, Holly (Rich) Brewer, Heidi (Frank) Leonard, Michael (Jamie) Knapstein, Jamie (Chris) Cachor, Tiffany Boman, Cassandra (Ben Grande) Willey, Christen (Matt) McFarland and Wyatt Knapstein and blessed with 29 great-grandchildren and further survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and her special pet, Gabby.
Sally was preceded in death by her parents Michael (Lilah) Radey, her loving husband Robert Knapstein and by her sister and brother-in-law Marilee (Paul) Groom and by her infant daughter.
Visitation for Sally will be held on Friday, May 20 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel and on Saturday, May 21 from 11 a.m. to noon at Holy Family Catholic Church with a funeral Mass at noon. Burial will be at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Woodruff.
