Charles M. Genung
He was born on April 27, 1957 in Beloit, the son of Charles and Verdelma (Hanson) Genung.
Charles was employed by General Motors. He was an active member of Central Christian Church and attended bible study. Charles was a volunteer firefighter and always wanted to help people. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, hot rods, building and fixing things.
Survivors include his sons, Jared (Ryanne Buchanan) Genung and Josh (Casi) Genung; grandchildren, Jasi, Kyli, and Lani Genung; sister, Karen Genung; mother, Verdelma; nieces, Melissa and Christine Witt, Shannon (Shaun) Hanson, and Melinda (Jason) Schindhelm.
He was predeceased by his father and sister, Sherry Krueger.
A memorial service for Charles was held on Friday, February 18, at Central Christian Church in Beloit. Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium in Beloit assisted the family with arrangements.
