Sandy was born on November 10, 1936, in Kenosha, the daughter of Robert L. McKeand, Sr. and Virginia P. (Broesch) McKeand. In her early life she was a beautician, then a wife, mother, and homemaker.
Sandy is survived by her daughter Virginia A. (Randy Ray) Stevens of Park Falls, her grandson Jesse (Christina) MacLaughlin of West Allis, granddaughter Kelly (Matthew Gramz) MacLaughlin of Milwaukee, her great-grandsons Harvey and Harrison MacLaughlin, great-granddaughter Darby Gramz, her son-in-law Michael MacLaughlin of Menomonee Falls, and her brother Robert L. (Nancy) McKeand, Jr. of Deming, New Mexico as well as nieces, a nephew, dear friends, and her dog Frances.
Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Lorraine E. MacLaughlin, her former husband Edward J. Stevens, her grandparents John Broesch and Doris (Choate) Broesch, several aunts and uncles, as well as her companion of 28 years Robert A. Thrall, Sr.
A private burial service will take place at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park in Kenosha, at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the charity of your choice in memory of Sandy is suggested and would be greatly appreciated.
