Linda was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She treasured the time she spent with her family, and enjoyed over 51 years with the love of her life. She welcomed the role of a military spouse, and supported Gary and their family through his many deployments. Together they enjoyed fishing, traveling, cheering for the Brewers, and spending time with cherished friends. A trip to Hawaii held many special memories.
Linda’s three grandkids were a special light in her life. She taught them how to make lefse, bake, and do crafts. She loved watching them cheer, dance, or play ball, and enjoyed hearing about their adventures. She would often share a picture of her grandkids, and tell everyone that they were her “best medicine.”
Linda was preceded in death by her brothers Harold, David and Donald Nelson. Linda is survived by her husband Gary; sons Craig and Brian Jensen; sisters Barbra Parpart and Karen Madrical; her beloved dog Archie; as well as several nieces and nephews and many good friends. A visitation will be held for Linda at Bolger Funeral Home on Monday, July 11, from 11 a.m. until noon with burial at 1 p.m. at the Northwoods National Cemetery in Harshaw.
