Bob worked at Briggs and Stratton for 30 years as an inspector. Bob and Ruby moved to Hazelhurst in 2003. Bob then worked for Lake Tomahawk parks doing, as he said, “make tall grass short”. Bob enjoyed riding his 1968 Electra Glide, hunting, “wandering” in the woods, “Joe Runs” and listening to his eclectic taste in music.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents, and brother Richard. Bob is survived by his wife Ruby of 50 years; three children, Tanya (Kenny) of Fredonia; Tracy of Grafton; Tiffany of Hazelhurst; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Madison, Bryce and Chase. Bob is further survived by siblings Ron (Debbie) of Hazelhurst; Dawn (Gil) of Warrens; Rodney of Rhinelander; as well as nephews, nieces, and friends. A celebration of life will be held at Bolger Cremation and Funeral Home in Woodruff on Saturday, Jan. 22, from 2 to 4 p.m. Online condolences may be expressed on the Bolger Funeral Home website www.bolgerfuneral.com.
