Gloria “Jean” LaFave (nee Fillner)
Gloria “Jean” LaFave (nee Fillner), 76, of Mercer, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2022. She was born on December 5, 1945 in Marshfield to Charles and Elsie (Roth) Fillner. Jean is survived by her children, Wava Quandt, Larry Quandt, Chrissy (Hutchinson) and Jay Dooley, Jacqui LaFave and George (Rus), Jacques LaFave and Terri (Beseler), and Toni LaFave and Danny (Ginnane) and many dear grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law, Bonni LaFave and Greg Jackson. Jean will be greatly missed by all she knew. She touched the lives of so many in the community with her warmth and generosity. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
