He was born in River Falls on January 27, 1976. At age three he moved to Presque Isle, where he lived for his school years graduating from LUHS in 1994. After a short time in college he set out to experience life in several locations in the U.S. eventually settling in Asheville, N.C. There he enjoyed working for himself, “John of All Trades” and others as a carpenter while also enjoying the mountains of the area and disc golf with the Western North Carolina Disc Golf Club. He enjoyed helping with the annual Urban Skins Tournament that was held in downtown Asheville.
Zeke is survived by his daughters Ivy Anabel and Zaida Pearl, his mother Pamela Eschenbauch, stepfather Allen Eschenbauch, father Curtis John, stepmother Georgene John, Grandmother Sunny John, brother Eli Eschenbauch (Katie), brother Keegan Eschenbauch (Julie), nephew Croix, niece Wren, and his special friend Emily Anderson. Zeke was a loving, sensitive, caring, thoughtful person, generous beyond his means and always ready for an adventure. He was rich in friends, which he valued highly, and loved by all his extended family, a love he was happy to return. Losing him leaves a canyon sized hole in all of our hearts.
