She is preceded in death by her husband Ernie. They lived in Eagle River for many years and then Woodruff.
While in Eagle River Ernie owned Ern’s Tree Service.
Alice and Ernie were Jehovah’s Witnesses in the Eagle River Congregation and the Woodruff Congregation. She faithfully served her God, Jehovah, for 68 years. She enjoyed talking to others about God’s purpose for life on earth.
Alice is survived by their children: Rosanna (Daniel) Zandron; Jeff (Dorothy) Vonau; Nat (Kris) Vonau; four grandchildren: Ben Vonau; Bethany Vonau; Zachary (Chelsea) Vonau; Katrina Vonau; three great-grandchildren: Parabelle Vonau; Lily Vonau; Maksim Vonau. She is also survived by her sister, Doris Mixer; nieces, nephews and many friends. She is also preceded in death by her brother, Robert Norton.
A memorial service will be held via Zoom on Saturday, Sept. 24 at 1 p.m. CST. Bolger Funeral Home is assisting the family, www.bolgerfuneral.com for condolences.
