Anita K. Herman
Anita K. Herman (Nee Wiegand), 87, of Minocqua, passed away on August 3, 2022. Anita was born in Germany and eventually made her way to Chicago, where she met the love of her life, Richard Herman. They were married on March 21, 1976. They moved to Wisconsin and called Harshaw/Hazelhurst their home. Richard passed away on June 29, 2016 and took a piece of Anita’s heart with him. Anita worked at Otto’s in Minocqua for many years and eventually retired due to health issues and to spend time with Dick when he eventually stepped back from working as a carpenter. Anita is known for having a big heart, spending time with her friends at their local establishments, going out to dinner and traveling to Minnesota with Dick and their long time friends.
Whenever Anita left the house, she dressed up to the nines which included all of her beautiful jewelry.
Anita has many wonderful friends that included the Bruce Czaja family of Tomahawk, Randy and Jennifer Lepak, Steve and Carol Dain and also Brian and Kathy Paul Family. A special thank you to Carol and Jennifer who took great care of her in her final days.
In accordance with Anita’s wishes, no formal services will be held. Bolger Funeral Home is assisting the family, www.bolgerfuneral.com for condolences.
