Nancy Ann Jenz, born April 20, 1936, passed away peacefully at her home on April 14, 2022. The love of her life, Lowell, recently passed on September 28, 2021, after 66 years of marriage. Nancy was one of eight in her family. She had a great love for all of her siblings. She is survived by her two sisters: Mary and Marlene, her four children: Stephen, Denise, Michele and Kenny and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who all loved her very much. Nancy, mom, grandma, was a wonderful woman. She touched the hearts of all around her in so many ways. She and father, Lowell, raised five wonderful children. Sometimes things were hard, but they always worked though it. Nancy and Lowell were the glue that helped hold the Jenz family together. Wealth was not measured by money, but rather by the love the family shared for one another. Nancy moved up here in 1986 when she opened Jenz’s Country Store. Mom enjoyed her time up here watching the family grow. She and dad worked very hard to maintain a successful business. With the help of family and friends, their business is still going strong. After Dad (Lowell) passed away, Nancy just wasn’t the same, but who would be after being together for 66 years. They shared a love like no other and were an inspiration to us all. They showed us what true love was, showed us how to love and accept one another and how to cherish each moment in life. We all know that when mom passed, Dad was there by her side with open arms. She reunited with her love and joined him in Heaven. I’m sure she was sad to leave but happy once again to be with Dad and her son, Scott. We had Mom and Dad for many years and now Scott is with them again and we know he will take care of them both. Mom — we will always cherish the great memories. You will be dearly missed. As she and dad always said: “I love you today, tomorrow and always.” Thank you Bolger Funeral Home, they are so caring and compassionate. Jenz Strong, rest in peace. Love, the whole family.
