Harvey W. Vitha
Harvey W. Vitha, 81, of Minocqua, passed away on Saturday, April 9 at Rennes Health and Rehab in Rhinelander. Harvey was born on August 14, 1940 the son of George and Mildred (nee Dvorak) Vitha. He graduated from Monee High School and served proudly in the US Army. Harvey married Barbara Melmuka on March 22, 1988. He retired after 30 years at Electromotive (division of GM) as a supervisor and later was a bartender at Lake of the Torches Casino for 20 years.
He is survived by his wife Barbara and by his children Brenda Vitha (Santana Villarreal III) and Vincent Vitha and by his extended family Sharon Maeder and Geri (William Sled) Ewing and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Harvey was preceded in death by his parents George and Mildred “Millie” Vitha.
Upon his wishes, cremation took place and private family services will be held.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to any cancer organization of choice or the Oneida County Humane Society.
