Theresa A. Nelson
Theresa graduated from J.I. Case High School, Racine, and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee School of Nursing. She was a former member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Sturtevant and presently a member of Holy Family Catholic Church of Woodruff, where she served as a catechist aide. Theresa was employed as an R.N. by Riverview Health Service up until the time of her death and, previously, by Avanti Health and Rehab.
Theresa was the mother to four beautiful children: Zachary Centell, Alexandra Centell, Jacob Nelson, and Angelina Nelson, and by granddaughter, Natalee Shuman, all of Racine. She also leaves behind her faithful friend and rescue dog, Bruno, who has been adopted by her brother Dan’s family. She is survived by both her mother and father, as well as her three brothers and their families and many other family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life for Theresa will be held this Saturday, Sept. 25 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at her mother’s home on Hungry Lake. Come join the family to share pictures, stories and some of T’s favorite foods. For further information or directions, please contact Carol at [email protected].
