Karen Ann Gabrovich
She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, John Gabrovich; two loving daughters, Kim Brendel (Bill) and Kristine Brounacker (Roger); four grandchildren, Marissa Kozisek, Michael Gajewski, Stephanie Klopack and Joseph Klopack; four great grandchildren, Brinley and Ava Kozisek, Joshua and Lily Klopack.
She is also survived by her dear brother, William Kaddatz (Marilyn); two nephews, Jeff Kaddatz (Natalie) and David Kaddatz (Tracy); five great nieces and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marion and William Kaddatz
Karen was born in Evanston IL on Feb. 8, 1942. She met and married John and they made their home in Glenview, IL. They built a vacation home in Minocqua in 1975 where they enjoyed precious family time at the lake until they made it their permanent place of residence in 1994.
Karen was involved in the community and made so many good friends at Peace Lutheran Church, Pulmonary Rehab, Wednesday Bunco, Northwoods Women's Group and Jack Frost Company.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, October 29, 2021 at Peace Lutheran Church in Arbor Vitae.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Peace Lutheran Church.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses from Marshfield Clinic and Hospital and Compassus Hospice.
