Robert J. “Bobby” Christensen
Robert J. “Bobby” Christensen, 65, of Lac du Flambeau, passed away on Oct. 9. Bobby worked for the State of Wisconsin Department of Transportation as an engineer for 25 years. Survived by his wife, Georgia Christensen; daughters, LeAnn White and Lacey Christensen; son, Darrick (Lisa) Christensen; Ben Larsen; sisters Ardella “Tula” Christensen and Faith Ann Poupart; his grandchildren, Jayden, Bo, Wasiigiishik, Aydin, Jaevon and Calvin; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Leona Christensen; his brothers, Peter Jr., Myron, Jerry Nutt; his sister, Charmaine; his nephew, Chase Vetterneck. Services were held from Oct. 12, until October 13 at the Multi-Purpose Building in Lac du Flambeau, followed by burial at Memorial Cemetery.
