He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, woodworking, flying and spending time with family. Every grandchild had a special trip with grandpa.
He is survived by his wife Judy and by two sons Dennis (Barb) and David (Kathy) and by five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Debra and by his parents and sister Eunice and his brother Jim.
Visitation for Robert will be held on Saturday, Nov. 27 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Rock of Ages Lutheran Church in Minocqua followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Burial will take place at 3 p.m. at Our Saviors Lutheran Cemetery in Iola.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Rock of Ages Lutheran Church, 10441 Hwy 70, Minocqua, WI 54548.
