Claudia Jo Christ

Claudia Jo Christ, age 73, of Winchester, passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Marshfield Medical Center in Minocqua. She was born on February 5, 1948 in Berwyn, Ill., the daughter of Lawrence and Charlotte (nee Huizinga) Christ. Claudia was raised in Downers Grove, Ill., graduated from Downers Grove High School in 1966 and from Bradley University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1970. She worked at Electromotive – General Motors for over 20 years. Upon moving to the Northwoods, she started Mutts n’ More Kennel in Winchester in 1991. Claudia is survived by her brother, Gregory Christ of Illinois and nieces; Katie Christ of Saint Charles, Ill. and Lisa Ketterhagen of Iowa. Per Claudia’s wishes no services will be held and interment will be in Winchester Cemetery. In lieu of flowers Claudia wishes for any donations to go to the Winchester Fire Department, PO Box 115 Winchester, WI 54557.
