Christa Lorraine (Coffen) Hoover passed away October 2, 2021 at the age of 47. She was born April 23, 1974 in Woodruff. Christa grew up in Lake Tomahawk, was a student at MHLT grade school and graduated from LUHS. She enjoyed the Northwoods where she grew up going to the beach in the summer at Hasbrook Lake, spending time out on the pontoon on Lake Tomahawk or looking for arrowheads at the Rainbow Flowage — a great way to grow up. There is comfort and peace in knowing that Christa was a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ and had accepted Him as Lord and Savior in her life. She is now in the presence of the One who has given her everlasting life. Christa was a daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and friend to many. The world will be a much duller place without her unending talent, sense of humor and capacity to help others who struggled or were forgotten. Her talent knew no limits as a gifted artist and musician. Christa loved her family very much. She leaves her loving parents, Pat and Carol Coffen; children: Coty (Josh), Nikki, and Chloe; siblings: Shawn (Kelly), David (Mike), Mike (Suzie) and Frank (Sylvia). She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Lorraine and Richard Coffen and her maternal grandparents John and Rose Passananti. A deep heartfelt thank you to the staff at Sheboygan Memorial for their kindness, compassion and care for Christa. There will be a private family memorial on Nov. 13.
