Jennifer “Jenny’ S. Green
Jennifer “Jenny” S. Green, 69 of Woodruff passed away on Friday, December 24 at her residence. Jennifer was born on February 18, 1952 in Tomahawk, the daughter of Donald and Maureen (nee Moriarity) Schmidt. She attended AV-W, Lakeland Union High School and UW-Oshkosh. She was owner and operator of the Lakeland Variety Store in Minocqua. She enjoyed reading, music and singing, photography and loved animals.
Jennifer is survived by her daughters Heather (Dustin) Brey and Jessica Green and by the light of her life her grandson Jacob and by her brother Scott (Loranne) and sister Karen (James) Springer and by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother Maureen Schmidt in 2014; her father Donald Schmidt in 2019 and her nephew Eric in 2001.
Memorial Gathering for Jennifer will be held on Thursday, Dec. 30 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Oneida County Humane Society, 1852 N. Stevens St., Rhinelander, WI 54501.
