She is survived by her 3 children: Debbie (Mike) Polster, Keith (Deanna) Garland, Alyson Schaefer: eight grandchildren, Justin (Stephanie) Polster, Christopher, Taryn (Lucas) Cates, Kayla, Payton, Benjamin, Steven and Samantha: great grandchildren, Nate, Maddie, Graham and Rylan: Sister-in-law Peg Meissner; many loving nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Elsie, brother, Pete, husband, Dick Garland and daughter, Leslie Garland Miller.
A visitation will be held on Friday Aug. 27 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Cress Funeral Home 3610 Speedway Road, Madison. Funeral Services will be held Saturday Aug. 28 at 11 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 5701 Raymond Road, Madison, with a visitation one hour prior to the service. There will be an outdoor tailgate celebration of life following the service at Debbie and Mike's home.
We would like to express our appreciation for the loving care she received at Home Again memory center in Waunakee. We were blessed to have her remaining months of her life with such a loving, caring group of people.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Home Again in Waunakee as well as memorials may be made in Bettes memory to Alzheimer's Association and Agrace Hospice Care. Thank you to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and Cress Funeral Home for the attentive and compassionate arrangements.
