Ramona Lea Schaeffel

Ramona Lea Schaeffel, age 81 of Sayner, died on Thursday, Dec. 24 at Minocqua Health and Rehab in Minocqua. Ramona was born on Dec. 26, 1938 in Wausau, the daughter of Walter and Leona (nee Glasel) Treffert. She married John Schaeffel on Jan. 24, 1959, he survives.
Ramona worked as a real estate broker in the Northwoods for many years and was active in various organizations and groups.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, John Schaeffel and by her daughter Patsy “Patti” (Barry) Rabl and sons John S. (Nancy) Schaeffel and Robert D. Schaeffel and by five grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will take place at Plum Lake Cemetery.
