Earlene Homola
Earlene and her husband Bill moved to Hazelhurst in 1980, where they were members of the United Methodist Church Of The Pines in Minocqua. They enjoyed retirement living on Lake 17 and frequently had family an friends come in for extended visits.
Earlene moved back to Texas to be with family there in 2005. In 2013 she returned to Wisconsin so that family there could aid in her care.
Earlene was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years William E. Homola, her sisters Gean Ayer and Ethel Earnestine Pope, brothers Reese and Sam Eavenson and daughter-in-law Peggy Homola (nee Bendel). She is survived by her children Don Homola and Cindy Barber (Kevin), grandson Dan Scott, great-granddaughter Elisa Scott, sister-in-law Geri Burhop and nieces Sue Ann Sullivan (Bob), Jaci Burhop, Donna Ganshaw (Dave), Lori Renshaw (Jack), Susan Ellis and La Donna Kay Cooper.
In these difficult times, the family appreciates the prayers and messages of condolence and we hope that everyone will protect their own health during this pandemic. We appreciate those who continue to have fond memories of Earlene and the kind and caring person she was.
Donations may be made to the Cary United Methodist Church or the United Methodist Church Of The Pines, Minocqua.
