Faith Sermonti

Faith “Fay” Sermonti (née Ginghofer), formerly of Presque Isle, passed away at home on Nov. 26, 2020. Fay was born in Milwaukee on Feb. 6, 1936 to Ruth and Rudy Ginghofer. After graduating from West Division High School in 1954, she married Jack Novak. Fay loved to entertain and hosted countless gatherings of friends and family at her home in Muskego and, later, in Presque Isle. Fay also enjoyed travelling and did so extensively as she worked alongside her husband Jack and daughter Valerie at their travel agency, Class Travel. After Jack’s passing in 1987, Fay moved to the Northwoods and opened Tuckaway Gifts and Floral in Manitowish Waters. There, she met Ed Sermonti, and Fay and Ed were married in 1997. The two enjoyed a quiet and happy retirement at their home on the lake. 
Fay is survived by her husband Ed Sermonti of Presque Isle, her brother Ray (Jill) Ginghofer of Santa Cruz, daughters Jodi (Louie) Demolas and Valerie Orlowski of Las Vegas, grandson Michael Orlowski of Salt Lake City, as well as many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death are her parents, first husband Jack, and her daughter Shannon. In accordance with her wishes, no services will be held.   www.bolgerfuneral.com.
