Appointment Committee accepting applications for Nicolet Board of Trustees
State guidelines dictate specific criteria for board members to ensure fair and equal representation across the Nicolet District.
One open seat is for an employer, another for an employee, and the third for a school district administrator.
In addition to the above requirements:
• At least one person must reside in Forest County.
• At least one person must reside in Vilas County or the portion of Iron County that is within the Nicolet District.
• At least one position must be a female.
• At least one person must be a minority.
Applications and additional information on the appointment process are available on the Nicolet College website at nicoletcollege.edu/about/board-of-trustees or by contacting Anne Bonack at 715-365-4415 or [email protected].
All of the open seats are for three-year terms that run from July 1, 2018, to June 30, 2021.
Completed and notarized applications must be received by Anne Bonack by 4 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 20.
Applications can be sent to Bonack at Nicolet College, P.O. Box 518, Rhinelander, WI, 54501.

Candidates must also be available to attend a District Board Appointment Committee meeting and public hearing. Applicants are encouraged to attend the meeting and hearing scheduled for 3 p.m., Monday, March 19, in the Red Oak Center Fireside Room on the Rhinelander Campus. A second meeting and public hearing will take place at 3 p.m., Thursday, March 22, at the same location for any applicants unable to make the first meeting and hearing.
