Fe University acting class offered in Ironwood beginning Sept. 5
Students will participate in acting exercises, scene analysis, and the performance process.
In this class, limited to 14, students will gain a clearer understanding and appreciation for the role of the actor through exploring their own skills and becoming more confident with their own expression. During the last session, students will present a two-character scene or a monologue for the class and invited friends.
Anyone interested in "jumping in" to the process and having some laughs is invited to participate. Past experience is not required. Homework will involve some observation and analysis, as well as memorization. Students will receive a "notebook" of terms and diagrams, a collection of scenes and monologues compiled by the instructor, and a bibliography of acting texts.
