Minocqua is set to host its beloved Beef-A-Rama all day tomorrow, an event which has been a staple of the town for nearly six decades.
Events like the Lakeland Rotary’s traditional Rump Roast Run at 9 a.m. and the Beef Eating Contest at 11 a.m. are main stays of the beefy festival.
Relatively new activities include a stronger implementation of childrens’ activities and a cornhole tournament hosted by Redman Realty, with two separate starting times at 11 a.m. and noon.
Festival-goers can expect multiple locations offering live music and three primary locations selling beef, complemented by over 40 businesses giving out beef-themed treats.
For those who can’t wait, people can get a head start on Beef-A-Rama today, as there will be a live radio broadcast downtown from 10 a.m. to noon and early apparel sales being offered as early as 8 a.m.
