Lakeland Union High School (LUHS) district administrator Bob Smudde said Monday a matter involving the district’s director of technology Trevor Raskie has been forwarded to the Minocqua Police Department for further investigation.
A statement LUHS administration issued to its staff said Raskie has been placed on administrative leave as of right now “for a NON student-related issue.”
“Because of the confidential personnel matter, we cannot provide any additional information at this time,” the statement said, directing staff to use the technology department normally, as needed. “We expect you to maintain professionalism and refrain from discussing this with students, parents, or community members.”
An automated response has been enacted on Raskie’s school email saying he “has been placed on leave pending an administrative review.”
The email response concludes by thanking staff for their “patience” and that the district hopes “to resolve the matter efficiently.”
Smudde, business manager Eddie Then Jr., director of teaching and learning Katie Rein and technology assistant Jon Poupart were listed for staff to contact for those who have any questions pertaining to district technology.
