Iditarod champ chats perseverance with North Lakeland students
Reigning Iditarod champion Jessie Holmes made an appearance at North Lakeland Elementary School in Manitowish Waters on Friday, Oct, 24 to share his unique experience with students. Holmes, who scored first in the iconic Alaskan sled dog race earlier this year, was in town for the Dryland Mushing World Championships at Minocqua Winter Park last week.
