Lakeland Nordic ski teams found more success throughout 2022-23
Lakeland Nordic ski has found a lot of success over the years. From another state championship to Junior Nationals, Lakeland proved that 2022-23 was a hit. “Another really good season for the team and for individuals and especially for the girls’ team … for another championship. It was a really good season,” coach Erich Kern said. “Great results for Casey, some individuals … making it to JNs (Junior Nationals). Just keeping the good vibes going for the team.” The biggest storyline came at the Wisconsin Nordic Ski League Distance Championships on Feb. 12. The Lakeland girls took home their second straight state championship and third in four years.
