Flames in their honor

Trevor Greene/lakeland times Janette Marien of Compassus, a home-based health services provider, lights the candle of 12-year-old Noah and his mother, Katie Lorenzoni, during a Trees of Love ceremony on Wednesday, Dec. 7, in Arbor Vitae. The ceremony was in honor of loved ones who have died. It included readings of poems, singing of songs and a tree lighting, as well.
