Harold “Harry” Dean Falbe was born Dec. 8, 1933 to Elmer and Edna (Dettmann) in Westfield. After graduating from Beaver Dam High School, Harold served in the U.S. Army from January 1955 to January 1957. after an honorable discharge, Harold joined his father in business before becoming manager of the body shop at Sukowski Motors. Harold then owned and operated Falbe’s Auto Body as well as Falbe Oldsmobile in Beaver Dam. Harold was partner in Sunset Hills Golf and Supper Club. In 1987 Harold relocated to Hazelhurst where he was united in marriage to Donna (DeVries). She survives. In 1994, the Falbes purchased a business in Hurley. Together the Falbes ran the business until suffering a fire in 2014. In 2015, Harold retired to St. Germain. Harold passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Oct. 24, 2018, at home with his wife Donna and pal Fritzel at his side.

Besides his wife, Harold is survived by daughter Lisa (Beaver Dam); two grandchildren, Aaron (Cambria) and Andrea (Beaver Dam); sisters, Alice Wendt (Onalaska and Marcy Seiler (Sun Prairie); step-daughter-in-law Jennifer Beekman, and step-grandchildren Nathan and Zachary Beekman, Michelle and Shannon Loring, and Carlyn Voight.

Besides his parents, Harold was preceeded in death by a son, Jeffrey, step-mother Alberta, and step-son Daniel Beekman.

Harry’s family will receive guests at an informal celebration on Sunday, Nov. 4, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Harry’s beloved home in St. Germain.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family. Hildebrand Funeral Home is serving the family.
