Emery W. Henrich, age 72, passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2019, having fought a courageous battle against cancer since Sept. 2018.

Emery was born to Mr. and Mrs. Emery Henrich of Tomahawk on Sept. 12, 1947. He was preceded in death by his father Emery, his mother Elaine, and his maternal grandmother Lena Vachavake.

His sister Colleen survives.

He attended Tomahawk High School and graduated in 1965 and then attended University of Stevens Point and graduated with a degree in geography and cartography.

He worked for the State of Wisconsin Madison as a cartographer for a number of years before transferring out to California.

He then worked for the State of California in their water Division until retiring. He took a position as manager of Tehachapi Phone Company for many years and then started his own online internet business, Renegade Racing, selling motor cross accessories of clothing, boots, and helmets. He loved ATVing and motocross riding in the desert with his friends on the weekend, especially with his best friend Eric Tucker. He sold his business in 2010 and then he and his sister moved back to Wisconsin and retired to Lake Tomahawk. Emery was big hearted with a great sense of humor and loved to travel, dine out, and go to casinos. Another favorite  hobby was painting, especially landscapes and wildlife.

Emery loved the Northwoods where he enjoyed ATVing and UTVing with family and friends. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten by his many friends, cousins, and his devoted sister Colleen.

He was the best brother a sister could ever hope for.
