Downtown Boulder Junction is hosting the inaugural Wine Walk from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19. Stroll from shop to shop, and a few restaurants too, while sampling a variety of wines and appetizers in various businesses in the shopping district. 

Tickets for the Wine Walk are on sale now. Tickets may be purchased in advance on boulderjct.org or at the Boulder Junction Chamber. Cost is $30 per ticket. Ticket holders must be 21 and over. For those not wishing to sample wines, but would like to participate, they may purchase a designated driver ticket for $10. Ticket sales are limited to just 125 sold. If available the day of the event, the cost will increase to $35 per ticket. 

Event check-in will be at the outdoor tent next to Peeplelures beginning at 4 p.m. Ticket price includes a custom wine glass, lanyard with punch card and map, wine samplings and appetizers. Photo ID is required at time of check-in. All ticket holders visiting all 17 locations will be entered into a drawing for a prize package of gift certificates to participating businesses valued at over $150. Drawing will take place at 8 p.m. Must be present to win.

This is a chamber sponsored event. Any proceeds from ticket sales will go back into the general fund for marketing Boulder Junction.



Music on Main Street

Boulder Junction’s outdoor summer music series, Music on Main Street, kicks off this same evening. From 7 to 9 p.m., Brian Mclaughlin, a singer and guitarist who has worked as a professional musician in the Wisconsin area for the past 25 years will perform. As a solo artist, Mclaughlin delivers a powerful and fun filled performance with hits from the 1970s through today. He achieved the honor of being the Wisconsin Area Music Industry’s 2015 Northwest Quadrant People’s Choice Music Teacher of the Year Award and Musician of the Year Award.
